Nexium Control Tablets 20mg is used in adults for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (for example, heartburn and acid regurgitation).
Reflux is the backflow of acid from the stomach into the gullet (“foodpipe”) which may become inflamed and painful. This may cause you symptoms such as a painful sensation in the chest rising up to your throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).
Nexium Control is not meant to bring immediate relief. You may need to take the tablets for 2-3 days in a row before you feel better. You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 14 days.

I have been taking the meds for a couple of months. My doctor has said that my stomach isn't working well and I am trying to get better. Is there something I am doing wrong? Is my esophagus getting bigger or smaller? Is my esophageal muscle and/or stomach better than normal? I have had no problems in the past while taking Nexium. Do I need to take it with food? If so, could I eat or drink? Thanks
A.Nexium is an antacid that comes in an orange, round, round, white, white and white colored tablet. It is taken orally with a glass of water. It is not an antacid, but it is an antacid that works to help relieve nausea and other side effects of the medication. It is important to know that you should not take a prescription containing antacids that contain sucrose or aluminum hydroxide. You should also avoid taking the sucrose or aluminum hydroxide in the orange, round and white colored tablets as it may cause an allergic reaction. You should also avoid taking sucrose if you are allergic to it or if you have ever had any of the following medical conditions: heart failure, liver or kidney disease, stomach ulcers, liver or kidney disease, severe kidney disease, bleeding problems. You should also avoid taking sucrose if you are taking any of the following products, including prescription, non-prescription or herbal products: vitamin, mineral, or other dietary supplements: vitamin E, iron, zinc, magnesium, or zinc. You should also avoid drinking alcohol as it may decrease the effectiveness of Nexium and may increase the risk of side effects. You should also avoid taking Nexium if you are taking or have recently taken Nexium or any other antacids. You should also use a laxative as it may cause the medication to become less effective over time. You should also talk to your doctor if you experience any of the following symptoms of a serious allergic reaction: hives; itching; difficulty breathing; swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat or other parts of the body; hives or rash; hives with little or no skin rashes; swelling of the hands, feet, legs or ankles.
I have been taking Nexium and it has been getting worse. I have had the same side effects as I did. I was hoping to try taking the meds but it is not going well. I am not sure if it is a good idea to take Nexium because my heart doesn't work well. I have been taking these for years and I am constantly being asked by my doctor what the right dose of Nexium for me is and this has been the case. Has anyone else had similar side effects? I am trying to get a better night's sleep and if anything helps, I would love to hear from someone who can tell me more.
I had an allergic reaction to Nexium that was getting worse while taking the meds. The next morning I began having chest pains and a heart attack in the next 24 hours. My doctor prescribed a heart drug called amlodipine but it was too expensive. It made me sick, and I was unable to get an appointment. I was going to see my doctor and see if he could prescribe me Nexium but he prescribed a different drug to me. He said it is a very good antacid and it is very easy to take. I have been taking the meds for the past 3 years and I am still having the same problems. My doctor is not going to prescribe me Nexium as it is not going well and I am not sure what is going on. I am going to see my doctor tomorrow and see what else I can do to help. I am very grateful for the advice. I am just hoping that he will prescribe this.
I have been taking Nexium for 2 months now and it has been terrible. I am taking a combination of the Nexium and amlodipine. Nexium was taken as a tablet.

I ordered Nexium for the heartburn medication, but when I go to the store to see if the price is too high and it is, the price is so much higher than I can afford. I have used the drug several times, and it seems to work very well. I can't get the price to go below $20. I do think that the pharmacy should be able to give me a lower price to help me save time and money, but I haven't been able to find any in the U. S. so far.
I think my doctor may be able to suggest an over the counter product that is more affordable and works very well. I have tried other products, and they have worked for me, and I would recommend the over the counter product. I am not sure what is right for me.
I am so grateful for your help!
I have been using the Nexium for over a year and a half now, but it is still a pain to get it filled. I am now trying the anti-inflammatory drug and can't even get it to work. I am concerned about the cost. I am now using a prescription card, so I would like to know how the card will help me save time and money. I can't afford to go to the store to get it filled. The price is so much cheaper than I would like. Thank you
Sheryll, thank you so much for your help. I was shocked by the price at the pharmacy. It has only been $20.00 since I ordered it. I was surprised to learn the pharmacist was able to give me the lower price to help me save money. The price will be much lower, but the pharmacy is able to give me a lower price. I would not be surprised if the pharmacist would recommend an over the counter product that is more affordable.
Good luck with your prescription!

Q.I recently decided to use a drug called Nexium (esomeprazole) to help me with my esophagus problems. I’m taking it for heartburn. I had no problems when I first started taking it. I was able to heal my esophagus, but I had severe esophageal irritation. I’ve been trying to come to terms with the side effects of Nexium. I am also concerned that I might be allergic to it and the other ingredients. I have been using a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and Nexium does not cause me any allergic reactions. I am also concerned that I may have a stomach infection.
The only other thing I am concerned about is the fact that Nexium has been used for more than a year to treat the symptoms of heartburn and GERD (peptic ulcers and gastric ulcers). I have never had the esophagus issues before, and I am not allergic to it. I do not have any symptoms of GERD, and Nexium is not my only medication. I was prescribed Nexium for heartburn but am concerned about that. My doctor is not going to prescribe it for me, so I am going to try it. I am not sure if it is safe to take with food or not.
There are a few things you should keep in mind while taking Nexium:
Do not take Nexium to treat GERD or heartburn. Nexium is not my only medication. If you take it for heartburn, you may be able to reduce the severity of the symptoms you have.
Talk to your doctor about other medications that you are taking to make sure they are not dangerous to your body. For example, if you are taking a prescription drug called esomeprazole, or you have taken a prescription drug called proton pump inhibitor medicines, you may be prescribed an antacid that is not going to be helpful in your GERD or heartburn.
